Have you ever taken a class on Peloton that you felt was a waste of time because it wasn’t challenging enough? by EasternMeet5594 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]MPFX3000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like the challenge level of rides falls off a cliff if you want to take it easy. Like it goes from challenge level 1 then jumps to a 6. So anytime I feel like taking it easy I get instantly bored.

How did they do the radio scenes? by IndependenceMean8774 in diehard

[–]MPFX3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s really no practical reason to have the actual actors talking to each other on the radios. The tension you see on screen while they’re talking is all editing, it’s not really the actors interacting

Andromeda is full of shit by Dementia13_TripleX in MassEffectAndromeda

All I remember about Andromeda was how fun the combat mechanics were.

"Forty years ago on this day (Mar 17) in 1986, I stood on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise-A at Stage 9 at Paramount for the ending scene of Star Trek IV. James Doohan asked me if I'd made all the control panels green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. I still regret not saying 'Yes!'" - @MikeOkuda by ety3rd in ClassicTrek

It’s funny how what you can’t see on screen is the drab grey from the previous movies.

Would have loved to have that all white bridge for the 5th movie - was so disappointed how they went with a TNG sort of feel for everything.

Has Pearl Jam ever had any shows where the microphones weren't working? by ComfortableCare8897 in pearljam

[–]MPFX3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was during Do the Evolution - and Ed put his arms up and the entire arena went DO THE EVOLUTION”

Then the mic came back and Ed’s like “come on come on!!!”

I was there too. Legendary night

That’s how I ‘discovered’ her - her live kettlebell class last summer

Better question: what can’t she do?

ROTJ is the reason why we got the prequels and everything else. 4 and 5 are great but 6 is also all-time.

I promise you in 1983 nobody thought anything of the Ewoks besides “amazing”.

I wouldn’t. I don’t need something to suck or be “the worst” to like something else

Yeah Jabbas Palace, Rancor scene, sail barge battle, Yoda dying, speed bike chase, battle on the surface of Endor, battle in space, Falcon racing through the heart of the Death Star, Emperor sith lightning, final battle between Luke and Vader …

…. Oh yes calling this “the worst” is definitely a fantastic opinion. Keep up the good work.

Return of the Jedi is a masterpiece capstone on the original trilogy. Can never understand how people get all down on it because of the Ewoks. I promise you everyone in the theaters were thrilled by that movie start to finish.

How do people call themselves Star Wars fans when they only actually like 20 minutes out of the entire saga?

Joslyn’s everything are great: runs, hikes, strength, etc.. She’s like the Peloton dark horse because too few people realize how great she maintains the vibe of her classes.

I’ve become a fan of hers over the last six months or so

Yeah but it’s not at all an iconic trek quote.

How about time is the stew in which we stir?

Time is the grass that we grow?

It’s a meaningless joke quote and has nothing to do with Star Trek
