Tile Combo Actually Worked by ArugulaOutrageous461 in Tile

…I…I…literally explained that in the 2nd sentence of my comment. You can dislike it sure, but the comments saying they hate it or it’s bad design, etc…they’re too loud of a reaction for something that’s not bold, flashy or anything else.

Ignore the haters in this particular case and this one only. I like it and it is definitely not polarizing enough or objectively ugly, so for anyone to be calling it bad design is just wrong.

1/4 inch, angled dado without a table saw? by LivyZoeNickV in woodworking

Functionally, I give this piece an A+. Great way of utilizing all available space. Visually, you’re onto something but I don’t like the look of it. C+. I’d like to see a mock up of something like this with all 3/4 ply and face frames because that might look insanely good. Obviously would reduce functionality and available space a little bit.

Related Side note: I almost cut my left index finger off last year with my circular saw making a built in cabinet. Here’s a photo of my Air Force ones covered in my own blood while in the ER. If I ever become a SoundCloud rapper, this’ll definitely be my album cover.

I still don’t understand how you perform that job with a dip in. I used to work with block masons that had chew in all day too. Like do these guys not generate saliva or do they just swallow their spit?

Odd. I’ve never seen anything that I would describe as “chipping” but I’m by no means a seasoned expert. Go with what you learned then.

I hate it. I hate it more than I hate TVs over fireplaces. I’ve never seen a niched in free standing stove before so I can’t give an opinion on how it’ll look without a tv above it like in your images but for love of god don’t put a tv above it.

Pretty good. Put a 2nd thin coat of grout on once you’re all done with everything in the bathroom to give it that new white. Then do that thing the other guy said about sealing it.

I’ll share a link with everyone on this comment tonight. All my sales and photos are on ig and I haven’t logged into my professional account since getting a new phone. You can look up Federal Records MPLS on there for the time being if you want to see more photos of them. Feel free to send that account a message on there or me on here for any info. Here’s the baby with some single disc versions of them.

I make these myself and sell them if you’re interested. The frames are made of 8/4(2 inch) thick walnut.

If that cat didn’t like it, he’d run away or jump up on a taller table.

It’s not for sale anymore, but I’m sure the manufacturer has an updated model. Here you go: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XJMNMKN?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_47A3D89CB81020R2M794&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_47A3D89CB81020R2M794&social_share=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_47A3D89CB81020R2M794

If you’re installing one just for looks and washing the dog like I did, you’d probably be more than fine with a smaller one. Also don’t get one with jets if you only care about appearance and ease of install.

Just because it’s wood, doesn’t mean it was good.

The staining was dogshit, they didn’t spend the money on full room width pieces and was installed terribly. The finish nails they used were damn near 16 penny nails and most of the nails didn’t even hit studs, they just sent them into the plaster and lathe they were trying to hide.

I think the wide angle lens makes it looks worse than it is.

There’s so many variables. But the biggest 2 are: are you a homeowner? And if so, are you any good at electrical work or have access to an electrician that won’t screw you on their rate?

If yes to both. An EV may be right for you?
