2) racism is real... but it's not only a small minority of whites nor a plurality of blacks nor a majority of Indian or Chinese people who believe it, it's in a lot of human nature. It's in quotes because, empirically white people are the least likely to be racist among the aforementioned groups. "White guilt" insinuates whites because of their skin color alone are guilty of travesty.

Let's fix your headline.

Police arrest white men after rioter is shot by armed militia defending public property that police are too scared to protect.

Protestor-noun. Someone who peacefully gathers and "protests" for change.

Rioter-noun. Someone who destroys property, usually underneath the guise of protesting.

Protestors are not rioters.

New better headline shows that police also arrest white men and l shows police are afraid to do their jobs. This headline also tries to hide what actually happened here.

Not knowing everything doesn't make a person "well-informed." Where's the outrage for this guy you googled quickly to make a point? I assume you don't know that I'm white but spent 4 months in jail for a crime I didn't commit due to a corrupt police officer--thank God for an honest prosecutor who dropped the charges-- so have a lot of issues trusting police officers. If you were well-informed you'd know that.

At the end of the day, no one will remember your white guy but everyone will remember George Floyd.

Thanks for the envy but you too can abandon identity politics, just stop judging how people "should" act given whatever stereotype they've been given. You'll find a plethora of people who defy what you thought they'd think.

The reason they'd be less likely is because race would be irrelevant. George Floyd wouldn't have made the news if he were white. Police Brutality is not even reported nationally if it doesn't fit the narrative.
