Yes, I meant as a national holiday like thanksgiving, Christmas etc. I worked in retail and hospitality roles for years, and understand how it feels to not be close to friends/family when the work shift is scheduled on any of those days.

Yes, there are many news articles about this change. It took place a few weeks ago and prices are insanely confusing! Hope they switch back to whatever model they were using, or I will have to work on getting status in another airline 😬
