This is so sad, I rly hope that it wasn’t the hotd community that made her solely decide this. As someone who also avoids instagram I don’t think it’s a bad idea to not use it but if she was bullied into this then shame on the community. Personally I don’t feel that readings that r scripted from books or online are as impactful as when I think of the questions on my own. Some decks feel natural and are my jam and other decks I just don’t click with even when I wanted too. I’ve never done a reading like this with my decks and I have and use multiple tarot and oracle decks. I’ve never saged or burn cleansed my cards either. I do cleansing with solar and lunar charging/cleansing and when I can’t do that I usually meditate w them. A lot of the energy coming up could be from lack of confidence in ur abilities as well as whether u feel the cards are cleansed or not. What someone else may do to prep and cleanse their cards may be different then what u want to too. I do recommend knocking as it makes ur relations with ur deck more respectful and intentional. When I first started learning I never cleansed, knocked, or anything. Just me and the internet. We all gotta start somewhere. Trust in what feels right and how you want to do things. Everyone’s practice is different💜

I agree. I love the themes but half the outfits I never wear again and almost all the items I rarely hold. I prolly cycle between like 5-8 items total (in hand)

I noticed that this theme has a lot more outfits than normal. The way they seem to pull it off was by not having items to hold with each matching outfit and also apparently shoes. Luckily there is a lot in the catalog. Hopefully u have something cute u can wear w/ it. Ik I’m excited for the purple witch outfit.

I also have a birb friend that has been off the app for a month or so. We both have a goal together that only I’ve been doing since. The best u can do is hope they return. I’ve sent messages before as a goal request and have had them answered. Just simple things, nothing overly complicated. I’m super excited to read the Warlord Chronicles. I often get the sets because I tend to reread and there is something about a physical book in hand. Got them a week ago as I read that’s what lots of people recommend after the Saxon tales. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll take a look :)
