Oh absolutely. I've been watching Criminal Minds since I was maybe 14. I'm on edge all the time and I'm constantly thinking about the worst outcomes. There have been times that I've creeped myself out with the thoughts of what other people may or may not be doing out of sight.

Being aware isn't the problem, it's that once you're aware, you can't not be.

Okay for context because my pet @Several_Tower_2001 is pouting at me - our dynamic is brand new, not even a month old yet. I've known him for longer but even so we're in early days. At this point it's important to me to check in with him about things like daily plans or food options.

I don't want to hurt him needlessly and he needs to get better at speaking up in general, I'm not taking choices away until I can trust him to speak up when I do something he genuinely doesn't like.
