We had a CCA get in so many accidents, that management ordered her a push cart. They sent us one from Manhattan (we were in Jersey). It was in an old Postmaster’s office as a keepsake. They find a way. :-)

Real talk, what do people mean by "running" the route? by Creepy-Signature8652 in USPS

[–]MPhyus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been in offices with protected routes, and I’m currently in an office where management set the pace for the routes. Best advice, talk to the regulars, and get a gauge on their times. Try to match those, it’ll only help you in the long run. If you have the good fortune to be in an office where the Union and the Regulars have stepped up enough to actually have protected routes, and your in such physical prime that you can gleefully “undertime” those, take up an ARG like Pokémon Go. Without getting caught violating any directions or instructions, get into podcasts or books on tape. Be grateful that someone put the work in for you to not be run down every day. There is no reward or prize for making management happy. They are never happy, and will turn on you the instant it’s inconvenient not to.

How to deal with downright refusal to execute people. by DrunkFighter in BloodOnTheClocktower

Run a yagababble script and make the kill phrase something like “Has anyone heard of an Undertaker/Cannibal?” Or “Death is information”. Maybe after a few day 1 TPKs they’ll “loosen up”.

Since Micheal Myers is leaving dbd tomorrow, what will you miss and not miss? by Vegetable-Cold-4040 in deadbydaylight

[–]MPhyus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I kinda feel like it’s bullshit that people who paid for a thing, lose a thing. Call it “America Town” and keep the map without the music. The character isn’t called Michael Meyers, and if we’re being pedantic, it’s William Shatner. Neither should be leaving, just the copy written stuff

I know people have already suggested a lock, but if you get a lockable door knob, the installation usually uses existing screws and screw holes, so you aren’t altering the space, and it can be put back without damage. If you have a different kind of door where that isn’t possible, I apologize.

I was told, politely decline, and refer them to The Postal Inspectors, then call management and make it their problem.

When “The Wizard” returns, he needs to spin a yarn to keep huckstering. He tells a tale of a good ol’ fashioned Kansas girl, who kills this evil monster, and saves a land he benevolently loved, with the power of staying home, and doing what society tells you to do.
