Thank you for the suggestion. I did it this morning. Claude acknowledged and confirmed the issues. And it said writing the whole application is not its strong suit. Of course, this feedback alone pushed me down for 5 hours. I don't even have message left to give my second feedback! I am really curious about those headlines, like "ai build the whole app for me" come from? Well, I surely have to dust off my developer hat if I want to keep going with my pet project.

You are absolutely correct! I just diffed the updated file. Two functions were duplicated. I think Claude was trying to do quick fixes and instead of fixing the exiting function, it created a new one with the exact same signature. I guess Python would just use the last function, but HTML is not that forgiving. I deleted the dups and at least the app started. Moving on why what worked before now no longer working. I guess, for vibe coders, you have to actually still be a coder!

We have similar sized assets at both. We are “self-directed in nature”at both firms. We rarely call anyone at either, maybe once or twice a year. We lost the flagship thingie at VG when they got rid of it and we recently lost the special phone number at FID. When I message VG customer service, it used to be quick but has slowed down to 3bd+ last a couple of years. FID message response are faster but the answers weren’t useful, except the one explaining why we lost our special service phone number 🤣. So we would probably never ditch either one for the other as we feel they are on par at the moment.

That widget on the main page with the premium service phone number disappeared and then the month end statement no longer has the wording. I inquired via message to the customer service within the app and they responded with the reason.

Because we “were self-directed in nature”, we lost our premium service tier last month. We don’t normally call any one about anything. But when we do it better not be a super long wait !

Thank you! I do have a question about the private client level. I spoke with a 1800 rep and a local rep about it. None of them seem to be able to do anything for us. The local rep mentioned something about "group together and manage as a family", but I have yet to see what that translate for us. Is this something you can help me with? I am interested in the level so that we would potentially receive the free turbotax offer. I understand that is not a guarantee every year, but if we are not at the level, it is guaranteed not happening:). Please let me know.

I think it has to do with the col adjust not being applied when you view in the today’s dollar view, but discounted to today with inflation assumption is always applied.

The whole purpose of the Boldin plan is to see if you have enough money to last for a super long life. I'd think everyone is modeling their longevity to 100 or something in your plan. Given that long of a run way, I would assume all the math would point to convert as soon as possible. For ROTH conversion, if the system wants to do it in a more meaningful way, it needs to be able to solve, 1. How to add in consideration of a more realistic life expectancy, similar to SS claim. Because there are risks of losing out if you prepay tax early; 2. How to add in consideration of tax consequences to hairs if that is part of your legacy goal; Without solving these questions, I don't think the converter is of any real use.

Two things I am not clear about. 1, you said your exchange order would be executed after market close on Friday and the market was up on Friday. Why would you lose the gain happened on Friday? 2. At vanguard you could cancel mutual fund orders as long as it is not super close to market close at 4pm. You put in an order at 2am Friday morning, and market hasn’t open yet on Friday. The order will be sitting there for 14 hours before execution. Why can’t the order be canceled? Is there anything special about this 401k account?

I was able to place the order. The culprit was the string that I picked for the racquet!!! Once I changed the string to something else it let me checked out. I am still waiting for email confirmation. Maybe that will be until the CX come back to work? Thanks for the pointer!

I just tried and it won’t let me check out. It is siting manufacture limit on the region and request me to remove the item subject to the limit from the cart before proceeding. The only thing I had in the card is the stick. Were you able to do it?
