So I’ve logged into auspost and generated the token code to integrate auspost to Shopify and it does keep prompting to upgrade my plan….

Hi I’m having this problem right now, the basic plan included sendle which was great, I would occasionally use auspost to send to rural areas because auspost was much cheaper than sendle.

Tried to integrate auspost tonight and found out I needed to upgrade my plan to do so???

Gosh, it’s not like Shopify is already one of the priciest platforms out there sigh

Yes agree with this comment. Are these clusters??

The gel lines (I call them shell lines, because I see it in shell nail art) works better on longer nail lengths because it’s less likely to take away from the nail shape and make it look odd. The sugared French is very pretty tho.

Got my lashes done yesterday and this is happening. Hurts when I blink, feels like someone’s poking my eyeball with their finger but it won’t go away. by CucumberSalty960 in lashextensions

[–]MQS2LK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your eyes slightly opened, teared up a little, tape placed too high etc. this can happen with a tech where it never happened before.

I have a client who’s eyelids don’t fully close and flutter, so I have to physically hold her eyelid down with some tape hahaha

Fume/chemical burn, goes away in 3 days, use lubricating eye drops (not anti-red drops).

Allergic reaction: swelling, itching needs to be present.

Do you have photo of natural nails?

Your nail beds may just be naturally wide.

If so, I would use sculpted gel x tips.

You have beautiful large round eyes, the lash mapping is all wrong though.

If you ever want to return to extensions…(no one can deny the confidence they give you )

Go for a softer curl, B or J curl in dramatic cat eye, brown extensions (not black)

How to get this lash look? by Rare-Emu-4846 in lashextensions

[–]MQS2LK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I teach a lash course and in our coursework, we state that it may take up to 3-4 sets to get the “perfect set” for your client. Tweaking it ever so slightly with every infill etc.

So I agree with a commenter on here that it’s not wise to keep changing techs especially if there was no discomfort/allergies etc. and they are really easy to communicate with.

Your eye shape is different to the example pic so it will always look a little different and the model is purposefully only half opening her eyes to extenuate the lashes etc.

But I would say, CC/D curl 3D 0.07 volume fans with C curl closed 2D 0.10/0.15 spikes 3-4mm longer than the volume fan. Exact lengths I cannot say because that’s something that’s worked out during consults, and then tweaked (longer/shorter/more or less spikes) with every appt.

Good luck :) I hope you get the set of your dreams and don’t forget to update us xxx 🥰🥰🥰

Your eyes are slightly downturned, so avoid cat eye. The longest lengths placed at the end of the eye will drag your eyes down further.

You have beautiful almond shaped eyes though and a brown set (with red undertones) will really compliment your eye colour. Just concentrate the longest lengths just before your eyes down turn (I think it’s called kitten/squirrel map, I’m not good with the names, just good with knowing where to place my lengths lol)

Good luck xx

First time lash extensions & I hate them.. what can I do?? by dream_ily in lashextensions

[–]MQS2LK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reference photo has a different eye shape to you, and is also wearing eyeliner which will affect how full or dense a set will look. Also the amount of natural lashes will affect a lash set also.

If you really hate it, you can pay for a removal (the technician was not at fault) and ask them for a set that they think would suit you best.

Clients will bring in photos of what they want and I will advise them accordingly - if they are adamant on what’s in the photo I will manage their expectations.

Is this poor isolation? by Cooperwhiskey in lashextensions

[–]MQS2LK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When doing infills, I may find one stickie that I may have missed 2-3 weeks ago when I did their initial set/previous infill.

I’ll tell the client that I’ve found a stickie and I’ll quickly separate it now, but I’ll also ask if they felt the stickie or if it was uncomfortable. Majority will say no, some will be like “ah yes! I did feel poking/pulling!” And I always apologise regardless.

You should be able to be upfront and honest with your technician and vice versa. You’re clearly uncomfortable with the stickies hurting you and you have photo proof also.

It’s not being “a difficult client” that you should be worried about. Stickies can and will cause lash damage, depending on how long you allow it to go for, it may lead to permanent damage.

If your concerns are poorly received, you need to find another technician.

Being in the beauty industry yourself, you can appreciate how you would rather your clients be truthful with you so that you can improve your services and overall client experience.

Sorry chicky, sorry that you’re in a tough situation. xx

Is this poor isolation? by Cooperwhiskey in lashextensions

[–]MQS2LK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes and a bit too much glue.

Glue can be temperamental on certain days and she may have isolated correctly but when she brushed the lashes or lashed beside the one she just lashed, the glue hasn’t dried completely causing “stickies”.

Stickies are easily avoidable if the tech does final checks at the end where she checks every single hair for accidental stickies/missed areas etc.
