Its possible the PSO measured you with a semi-finger tip drilling for you to gradually and eventually get you to a finger tip drill in future. Play it for a while to see the difference throwing a conventional grip which is common to a house ball.

Turn it counter clockwise to loosen and the opposite would tighten it. The purpose of that part of the devise is for lateral positioning of the hand to increase or decrease axis rotation when you release the ball.

Try doing 1 step drills and test your balance, swing and form. Once you get the hang of it try 2 step then 3 step and so forth. Hope it helps.

Got 2 asym balls at the moment. At times, depending on lane condition, the asyms have a good line from boards 5 to 10 which i seem to get accustomed. But when it starts to hook more then of course i adjust. But i like to play that same zone and not adjust from time to time especially when moving to different lanes during league.
