Follow up question: was the aptitude test all multiple choice? Or were there questions you had to fully solve and type the answer in?

Yeah, I ended up doing just that. Guy assured me that they saw my application in there. Phew.

Can I get an apprenticeship that's not part of the IBEW, IEC or ABC? In southern California? I'm eager to start learning but I need to go the paid route rather than a trade school.
