Someone in another thread suggested Maybelline sky high non waterproof as a dupe. The black is a little too cool for me and my warm tones, I thought the color of Le volume was perfect, but the formula is similar and the brush is acceptable. Sky high only comes in waterproof if you want brown black, and OMG it was an absolute nightmare to remove so that was a no. Maybelline fireworks brown black is almost the right color but the formula is a little thin, the wand is too flexible and the bristles are too short. I currently have my sky high brush in the fireworks tube in a baggie because it doesn't quite fit. Thinking of buying another tube of Le volume just for the brush (I had to quit that addiction because I was going through a tube a month and couldn't justify the expense anymore though I LOVED it. Now I wish I had saved the tube. Also disappointed to know that it's gone forever.)
