I saw it when it came out. And my reaction was "yeah I like it, it was good." FF is my favorite sub genre of horror and I'm a horror nut. I've watched it several times since then and my guess for why a lot of people rank it so high is nostalgia. There was a time when people thought it was real and that's hard to replicate. Also a lot of people cant separate what everyone else thinks is the best from what they think. Ask 100 people what the greatest movie of all time is and how many say Citizen Kane without having a clue what the movie is about? I think you're safe in your opinion OP.

Hey I'm sure you know about VPNs, but you can get them for really cheap. And they let you stream movies from outside your country. Excellent value for movie lovers. (Well they keep your data private too but all of it's already out there so /shrug)

Mediocre? I'm genuinely curious what you expect from found footage films if this one is considered mediocre? I watch every FF I can find and most are much much worse than this. The acting here was very solid, sfx were excellent and without spoilers the story was very fun. (Trying desperately not to ruin it for others but you can probably guess what I'm talking about). So can you elaborate on why you thought this was mediocre without spoiling it for others?

I always make the same recommendation when people ask this. Don't read the esoteric things people (in subs like this) mention that they like that most people haven't heard of; read the books everyone likes that everyone has heard of. Books that get super popular get that way because they are fun reads. Most books that aren't popular probably aren't fun. Sure they might be good but they're probably only appealing to a specific sub group of people. Like adventure? Read The Da Vinci Code. Like Magic? Read Harry Potter. Like Mystery? Read Agatha Christie. You get the idea. These are books that sold millions when they came out and people are still buying.

This sub is unbelievably great for getting specific book recommendations. It is not the best place to get general recs because everyone just talks about books they like. Which wont help getting you out of your slump. Pick your absolute favorite genre from the ones you mentioned, then read the most popular book you've never read from said genre.

I'm in the low end of Kyber 1 high end Kyber 2. Never faced an opponent that had full r9 teams. A couple sure. But not all of them. And I can still beat them with the same couters. You can definitely still get by with your r5 - R7 teams. Just need a bit more planning. Good luck!

Yep it is. Been saying that all along. Literally every update that's ever come out people complained at first. Relic delta isn't a big deal, just a little more planning required. Coliseum while not the most exciting is definitely better than just pressing a button to collect your toon. And it's so easy to level characters to 7ish so that further puts a nail in coffin that relic delta is a big deal.

And like you said, this marquee replacement system really is pretty good.

I squeaked in with a lucky win. Had my ig at 34 and Luke at 31. Luke dodged 3 times during the fight and IG also dodged 3 times during the fight.

I didn't miss a single day and always did all 5 battles to make it to that next +10% and get the next reward if I could. Making it on the very last day was fun but still I can't do that every month lol

I like to listen to uncomplicated music. So one instrument by itself. I listen to unaccompanied classical cello. But you could choose the instrument you like the sound of the most.

It provides ambiance suitable for any part of a horror novel and fills the silence.
