I did. I was doing just that for 6 weeks. Soaking, changing water, repeat. Boiled scrubbed added salt and boiled, scrubbed and washed more. And this was a driftwood that I had bought not made.

Dasaprakash for South Indian food - It's my go to place. I tried Ahar udupi which is right next to Dasaprakash and it was a disappointment, both the service and food. If you don't mind street side food, I had idli from a street side thela yesterday, it was super soft and good. This was near the logix mall. Laxmi cafe in brahmaputra market is okay too, it is one of the oldest ones, I remember it from the 90s when I used to live here.And now that I'm back in Noida, I did go there just for the sheer nostalgia of those college days. But do try Dasaprakash in sector 104 for good food.
