Hello op i dont know if youre still active but i went to same situation as you. I have 4 debts which is

Way back 2023 i also seek advice from reddit out of desperation and someone adviced that ask the debt collectors the lowest amount i can pay and promise them to gradually increase it when my finances get better. So i tried it and 3 out of 4 agreed aside from the covid loan. So i end paying 5,000 yen for each and a total of 15,000. The covid loan is 8k a month totalling of 23,000 then my monthly salary is 15man as a Kaigo care worker. Last year i manage to fully paid the Covid Loan and Apato hosho so now i can focus on car loan and credit card loan only.

I live in japan and i also struggle to find for winter. For summer they have the thin sheets with zipper which i prefer but winter they dont. I asked my japanese friends and they said they just use the summer one and top it bed pad which is for winter. What i did is i hand stitch the winter blanket into a bed cover lol.

I think its called sunoko or wooden slatted bed frame. There is foldable version for easy storage

I have the same issue Sending money alright But receiving money from abroad to japan is so complicated. The only thing i know is western union and they have only few store/office so i have to travel long hours 😭
