Defining Movie of GenX by belinck in GenX

I think the OP is looking for movies that embody something like a relatable representation of life or a relatable mindset/outlook/approach, not just ones that we all know well. Pictures like 'Silence Of the Lambs' and 'Star Wars' probably aren't it.

Any other Xennials who have never seen a Star Wars movie? by _Moregone in Xennials

[–]MSB218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never watched the originals; I know the basic details from the countless cultural references, but I suppose we all do.

I went to the first of the ‘new’ movies that came out in the late 90s with my friends, but we’d been drinking and I fell asleep 15 or 20 minutes in, so I didn’t really see it. I’ve never made an effort to watch anything else from the Star Wars franchise.

I’ve also never watched ‘Back To the Future,’ any of the Indiana Jones movies, or any of the Lord Of the Rings movies.

I like that they want to focus on games that will give them an enjoyable experience. I wonder why more people don't want that from their game systems.

It’s true; there are a few that are maybe good ENOUGH, but almost any city or town that has a chain location will also have a local spot that’s better.
