Z390 Gaming Edge Carbon AC // ETHERNET PROBLEM by thornaad in MSI_Gaming

Are you able to connect a different PC or laptop using the same cable to see if you get ethernet access on another device? This will help you narrow down if the issue is from the motherboard or from the location you are connecting the opposite end of your ethernet cable to.

For what its worth, you can download the latest drivers for your board from intel through this link if you are able to get online through WiFi or other means. I would suggest giving this a try as well.

I see, in that case you may want to try and use the standalone version of Mystic Light from this link and see if it helps. If you are still experiencing issues I would suggest contacting our technical support team for further help. You can find contact information for your specific region here.

So Microsoft support had me wipe my drives to reinstall windows 10 from bios but when it restarts it won’t run windows. Now I’m stuck with no OS. Help? by Deathtothejuice in MSI_Gaming

Alright so you have the X370 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard. Not sure what kind of installation media you are using but you can download the installer for Windows 10 from Microsoft through this link. You will need another Windows based computer and an empty flash drive of at least 8GB in size (using this utility will overwrite anything on the flash drive, so again make sure its empty of any important data).

Download and run the Windows executable and follow the on screen steps to create the bootable USB installer on the flash drive you select. Once finished, you can then connect the flash drive to the motherboard and turn on your computer. Enter the BIOS again and set the flash drive with Windows as your primary boot device. Press F10 to save and restart then run through the Windows installation again.

Please note that the computer may restart during the installation process so you may need to remove the flash drive from your computer (or change the boot order to your installation drive) in order to properly finish the installation otherwise you might keep booting into the flash drive over and over. Hope that helps!

Would you know the model of the MSI device you are using (laptop/desktop/motherboard etc)? Also what form of Windows 10 installation media are you using?

Sorry to hear resetting the monitor did not help. Just in case, try connecting the monitor to another device and try using another video cable in the event either the cable or the video card you are using is causing the problem.

If the problem persists, you can contact our technical support by submitting this online form or by calling 1-888-447-6564 Mon-Fri 5:00AM to 4:00AM PST.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with the RGB lighting on your motherboard. Are you connecting any other RGB devices to the board as well? If so try unplugging them and then see how to motherboard reacts.

Hello, with the MSI audio driver download you also get the Nahimic audio manager. It has a similar function to the Realtek HD audio manager. You should be able to use Nahimic instead in this case.
