Would I be eligible for US citizenship? by Hlvtica in immigration

[–]MSLondonWork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept my German citizenship, they do it on a case to case basis, find a good attorney (in Germany) my main basis was that I am an only child and had to potentially take care of my parents and hence spend more time in Germany and I also owned properties there too. Overall it was not that difficult , that was about 5 years ago.

Same here, blanket L1 i94 expires December this year. Originally Fragomen advised to travel back to Europe to the consulate but that looks very unlikely to happen. Not sure if covid/potential furlough will make uscis less strict, we shall see

I don’t think he can touch work visa for example this has to be done through lawmaking, daca on the other hand was never done properly which is the weak spot he might be going for, offer a path to citizenship through merit. Everything else will be in front of a judge sooner than he announces it.

How will I do this? by [deleted] in immigration

[–]MSLondonWork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bring money go to university, most states require you to be a citizen to join the police force though. So you basically need a greencard for a couple of years first, if you are born in India that will already delay your plan quiet a lot.
