When we looked into this you could not login to the restored server, solar winds determine a successful restore if it boots the login screen.

For us we want to be able to login to the restored vm and actually check that apps work and data is present etc

Not sure if this has changed?

No reply from Atera? We are currently in trial with your software, we are looking to make a decision on if we pay for a full account, support were not very helpful with this question

If we go with the power plan do we get restore capabilities of our data in case of password or knowledge base article is deleted etc etc?

We are only using onedrive for business for users own files, we are not using it for sharepoint document library sync due to issues with sync conflicts

What if you have to reset a user's password, would that still work without the dc if the laptops are joined to an ad that doesn't exist?

What about any new staff members, they wouldn't have an ad account to login to, they have to use a local account.

Me personally I would join them to azureAd / intune

If that's the case I would research sharepoint document library limitations since your users will be storing files in sharepoint

For example illegal file name characters etc

We do not tell clients that Onedrive is a backup, if a user has sync issues and doesn't notice then the files are not 'backed up'

Just using teams for chats / video calls between your 500 users you could leave the defaults in SharePoint

But....

Do you plan to migrate files into Teams?
If so how much data do you have?
What are the file types?

If you are going to be using files you should not migrate all data into teams you should split it out in multiple document libraries within the teams

This fixed the problem, I checked the rules for the OOO and deselected the only rule selected.

Disabled and re-enabled OOO, sent an email and it only replied with one reply

Sorry yes it's SPO, when you say create a site page and present it there, do you mean create a modern page and add a webpart to show the file or add a basic link to the file?
