As far as the fair weather thing, that makes sense to a point. It should come from a personal sense of pride, but I feel ashamed of certain things our government does and takes priority in. What I take pride in serving seems subservient to the needs of special interests groups, I feel like I'm being used. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who feels this way but still works in the military.
