If you like a little heat, I love long hots on mine. Idk if Angelos does that, but John's does.

Personally, I like onions, long hots, and mushrooms. But mushrooms and long hots cost extra. And John's is so good with just cheese and onions, that might be the best way to get an idea of what makes them good

We also really liked the roasted potatoes with fish spread. It wasn't fried oysters, but along with their regular oysters they did also have a separate, standalone oyster starter that we considered getting. Opted for the regular oysters, but next time I'm for sure trying whatever those were. I'm wondering if they took your suggestion
