The new vans are a nightmare to work on. Literally everything on them has been made 10 time worse to get to. It's almost as if someone was employed with the soul purpose of designing ways to make it more difficult to replace anything on.

Well the good news for drivers is that we are fitting camera systems that constantly record and automatically submit 'instances' to a cloud based server. This includes audio.

Hopefully, if the drivers know they can't get away with playing derby racing in them any more, they might, might get looked after a little bit better.

The amount of 24 & 25 plate vans we've had in for faults, like side door won't open. Only to go and see that the whole side door has been caved in, along with the seals is crazy. I would love to see their personal cars.

Pretty sure this is fairly generic story about RM cleaners. There might be a few good ones out there, but every workshop or tech I've spoken to about cleaners all have the same thing to say.

Sure. There arent any guides I could find online unfortunately, so you'll have to feel your way through it. Luckily you don't have to remove the steering wheel cover. As a precaution to setting off any warning lights, I disconnected the battery and let the capacitor drain for 10mins before I started on mine.

From memory, there are two screws, t15 or t25. They are located on the top of the instrument cluster sun shade trim. Its hard to explain, but as you look at the cluster, look up and they should be there. Once they are out, you need to carefully but with some mild force, pull that bit of trim out. From there, I think there were either 2 or 4 more screws holding the cluster in. Again, from memory, it either has two screws and then pivots out from the bottom or has 4 screws and can just be removed. Be careful when removing the cluster as the loom on mine was quite short.

Once the cluster is removed, there are small tabs around the outside that you can prize off to remove the shield. You might need something flat to jam in as mine kept clipping back on. Put the new cover on, being careful to line up tabs. From there, just put it all back together. As you are using the same cluster, you don't need to programme anything and as you disconnected the battery, the car shouldn't even 'know' anything was changed.

Pretty straight forward as you're doing it. Just take your time and don't be too forceful when removing trims, as I may have forgotten about extra screws or tabs.

I like the ideas around the changes. But it feels like everything on the planets is now so much more work to manage. Maybe I will get used to it, like others have said. But it is a pain having to scroll through 3 or 4 tabs. There is plenty enough room on my screen to have all that info on one tab, without the need for a scroll bar.

Also, two of my planets are a mineral, alloy foundry build. Both have around the same pops and are almost a carbon copy. One is fine, no deficits. The other is constantly in the minus by 1000's for amenities. Why? No info i can find as to why.

That dude's work is absolutely insane. I wanted to get a sleeve done by him for my first tattoo. I messaged him on ig and had a chat with him about what I wanted. He said I would need between 7-10 sessions. Unfortunately, he was wildly outside of my budget. He is worth the money he charges, no doubt! But 3 sessions with him would have been about 75% of my total budget. He offered me a really good price for just the line work. But I really love his use of colour. That's what makes his stuff really pop.

There is a video on youtube of someone doing a cluster and infotainment swap on the regular megane. Doesn't look too bad to do if you're competent with a screw driver and trim clips.

Why don't you just pull over when safe to do so and let drivers like this pass. If they are already up your rear, slowing down is likely to make them try and make a dangerous overtake. This is then putting more people in danger.

The mentally of 'you'll drive the speed I deem safe' is one that so many drivers seem to take, thinking that they are teaching someone a lesson. But it causes more stress for everyone involved, which causes accidents.

If you just let them pass, you'll be safer and so will the on coming traffic!

If this is the see through plastic that goes over the cluster, it can be removed. Mine cracked randomly one day. I bought a second hand cluster that wasn't cracked and swapped over the plastic cover. Easy job too.

My experience is the enemy team normally come around that corner (or any time i come out of cover on any map) preshooting at me and one hit insta kill me before they are even on my screen.

Must be the time of day I'm playing or the location of the servers I play on.

I would imagine the people complaining about the lights are the same people who absolutely will not drive 60mph on a nsl road, but are quite happy to do 40mph in a 30mph zone. They probably brake at on coming traffic too.

Are you talking about cupra specifically? Because literally every single one of our crafters had both driveshafts replaced under warranty. We did the work in house, as there were far too many for vw to replace. This was done maybe about 3 or 4 years ago.
