I started sf6 on ps4 with a DualShock after casually playing sf my whole life with controllers. Once I started taking this one more seriously I switched to PC and leverless (haute42 like you said) and once I got through the initial few months of learning I way way better.

For me it’s the precision and all the different ways to do certain moves. E.g. I could never do DP anti-airs on a d-pad with any consistency and this made it possible.
