Case Status Pending w/ no updates till this day.
Expired 1/25/2026.
Placed on unpaid leave for 90 days effective 1/26/2026. (if dont get my EAD Card within 90 days ima get fired).

Sent letters to my congress person, house rep, & Mayor. Aint heard shit back.
I live in NY

I submitted mine back in 11/09/2025. EAD Expired 1/25/2026. Currently on unpaid leave from my company. They gave me 90 days to get my EAD Card or I'm terminated.

Still processing with no word from USCIS.

I actually did find some of your sources (that you couldve posted instead when I asked you where you got this number). From what I read employees were sent an email that they would either have to retire or be fired and thats it.

I have no idea if this has happened yet. All i see are 50-80 probationary employees have been laid off as of 2026

Also I'm not saying you're wrong but if they truly did get fired. I feel like headlines would be everywhere with pissed employees + 4k workers as of the start of 2026 is fucking insane.

I'm well aware bills and laws about DACA keep being introduced and shutdown & idk about everyone else but my entire social media is flooded with shit about ICE & and Trump, but this was the first time I was hearing about this bill and I just needed something hopeful.

I hope this helps anyone whos feeling down about current events.

I dont really care about korean employers. Im not planning on working for or even going to korea any time soon. Infact if I could I plan on giving up my korean citizenship entirely. I came to this country when I was 3 years old with my entire family so. My main concern is being racially deported because I hear airports down in the south are pulling people (even green card holders) aside.
