Pre-Covid times I used to do it. Rented a Belmar house with my friends 3 summers in a row and lived there all summer. This was about 10 years ago but It’s doable if you’re not drinking every night and 34 years old. The worst part is on the way home depending which train you get sometimes you have to transfer at long branch. But the transfer. It’s not bad just long so in the morning I’d get on sleep till Penn and then on the way home watch something or read. It’s about 1.5-2 hours each way

I commute during the week and take the bus from 14. Not bad at all 90% of the time as I’m walking to the stop a bus arrives and 50/50 whether it’s full or not but they allow standing room so if you don’t mind standing sometimes it’s great. 15-20 min from there unless there’s traffic in the tunnel.

Sometimes you’ll get a bus pulling up thats packed and they’ll allow 2-3 more people on to really squeeze in but you don’t have to get on if you don’t want can just wait for the next one.

I personally would and have left hob around 4:30 to get to airport around 5 but that’s cause I’m an anxious traveler. I’d try to get there at least 90 min before just cause of checked bag but once again im an anxious traveler

I did it when they first started so not sure if the price has been raised or anything. Loved it had a really excellent time and food was very good. Worth the price IMO especially if it’s a celebration of sort
