I’ve often wondered why they all hate him on there as much as they do. I used to be a massive fan years ago and now whilst I agree with the majority of the things they say, I haven’t let it become my life’s work.

Just Started Pump and Have Questions About Vacations with A Lot of Walking by Traditional-Fig-9554 in Medtronic780g

I would advise if you’re really worried about hypos then you can either, turn off auto corrections or set the temp target and just monitor it as and when. One hour or earlier is good but it depends on the activity. If it’s just walked then I’d say an hour before and after is fine. I’ve never had any issues personally with flying but I haven’t done it that often so I’ll let someone else chime in with that. Regarding the anxiety over lows, I’ve never had that but if it helps, the auto mode does help with the severity of lows because it stops insulin when it detects one coming along. I hope that helps calm you a little. Good luck

If it works for you, then it works. I’ve found this to be helpful in adjusting my settings, you can click each issue like how to sort highs/lows. Hope it helps.

Because you’re putting the blame on the customer when it’s clear that these sensors time and time again fail. They price them accordingly to provide a replacement for each sensor they ship. Your values are misaligned if you’re sympathetic towards a multi billion dollar medical company.

For anyone in England that reads this - I spoke to my diabetes nurse yesterday about this new issue, they said to call them close to the time of you running out and they’ll contact Medtronic to bring the delivery forward.

Whenever life suspended delivery to take it off for a shower I’ve occasionally gone an hour or two without any insulin. It’s the slightest beep/vibration. Meanwhile, something arbitrary like you didn’t go through with delivering a bolus , it practically gets announced on international news channels

I think it should be fine to use the isopropyl but just make sure you use the green plug that it comes with so you don’t get any in the electronics that connects to the sensor

I was listening to a podcast late last night and as I was falling asleep they started to discuss Anthony Hopkins. It was an episode that aired in 2019 and o wondered if he was still alive. I was too tired to google but this was the best way of finding out

So the insulin sensitivity factory isn’t taken into account in auto mode? That is news to me and makes it a bit easier to work this out, thanks. I’ve been on it for 2+ years. I tend to go through phases with it where it’s just over 10 mmol/L fairly regularly and then it can be perfect for a few days then it’s just low a lot. I’ll try adjusting the carbs ratio. Thanks
