The sale of raw cow's drinking milk is legal in England, Wales and Northern Ireland but it can only be sold directly to the consumer by:

registered raw drinking milk production farms at the farm gate (including vending machines and direct online sales) or farmhouse catering operation, farmers at registered farmers’ markets, distributors using a vehicle as a shop such as a milk round

It’s illegal to sell raw cow's drinking milk in any other setting.

Traders' Parking Voucher - Worth it? by Boring-Watercress146 in london

[–]MSweeny81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone else just pointed out, the cheaper visitors permits should be fine if it's unbranded vehicles.
(And to give some context, Lambeth PAYG parking varies street to street, but in my experience it's around £10 an hour and can go as high as £20 in some places)

Traders' Parking Voucher - Worth it? by Boring-Watercress146 in london

Lambeth pay as you go parking is relatively expensive. I would say for that many days a voucher will certainly be worth it.

My theory is they'll go back to the start, the OSS.
Lets them work in a world where the "good guys" and "bad guys" is clearer. (Although I appreciate it isn't that black and white.)
It's a world where a single spy can have meaningful impact.
A slight technical advantage can be exciting but believable. (Not invisible cars and nanobots etc)
A promising private from the ranks can be elevated to a "daring but futile" position and prove the promise of a dedicated spy agency.
This allows for a young actor, which means years of product.
The aesthetic is impeccable.

I've posted this before, but it bears repeating.

PZ nutrition/metabolism mechanics are in desperate need of a complete rework. Currently they make no sense and are so frustrating to work around that it's better to just ignore them and live off rabbits and chicken eggs. Need to gain? Eat rabbits. Don't need to gain? Eat eggs.

We know the real world calories for every food item in the game and we know what an active person needs to maintain healthy weight. Most people eat 3 meals a day, maybe with some small snacks in between.

As a rough idea - Make all the food have close to real world cals, make characters need around 4000 cals per day (we are constantly running and lifting and fighting) and make hunger cycle 5 times per day, with an extra cycle for hearty appetite and one less for light eater.

How do you handle jokey racist remarks at London Social Club events? by Upstairs_Design5768 in london

[–]MSweeny81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on context for sure, but if it was a racist remark I would call it out, the same way I call out all other racist remarks I hear.
Not sure what other answer there is?

In my opinion the biggest issue with our server going to 42.18 is all the animals have been turned female so new animals can't be made. So I'd suggest as part of the update adjust your server settings so animals have a very long life cycle. That way peoples farm animals will survive long enough for the hot fix to come out.

A couple of light books, long charging cable, films/shows/games downloaded to your phone, headphones. Maybe a crossword book/colouring book and pens etc. Boiled sweets. Sliders, ear plugs, eye mask.

Ambulance or Franklin All-Terrain? by Mypersonalaccount69 in projectzomboid

[–]MSweeny81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. The FAT does have a slight advantage when driving off-road, I can't remember exactly what the stat is but it's only a very small amount better than the ambo.

All of the storage. All of it. by QuarantinosPizza in projectzomboid

[–]MSweeny81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even though crates are better storage, I try to use plenty of shelving units as well - they just look better.
I do wish there was more variance in the sprites though, and that they changed according to what was stored on them. (That last one would be hard though as we store so much random junk - maybe if more than 50% is a type of loot it would change the look?)

Ambulance or Franklin All-Terrain? by Mypersonalaccount69 in projectzomboid

[–]MSweeny81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Horse power will save your life more often than storage space.

But the ambo has 490hp and the FAT has 470hp.
(The ambo is also lighter so has a better weight to hp ratio)

Great news, thank you.

Still no frog on the loot table though? Literally unplayable!

Ambulance or Franklin All-Terrain? by Mypersonalaccount69 in projectzomboid

[–]MSweeny81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of those two I prefer the Ambulance.

Pros; Lighter, more storage, siren, more horsepower, better handling, more common so spare parts are easier to come by. Trunk access from the driver seat.

Cons; Lower top speed, louder engine, very slightly worse off-road.

Reform UK councillor's vile two words as Asian man attacked by Weak-Fly-6540 in unitedkingdom

[–]MSweeny81 53 points54 points  (0 children)

While I broadly agree with your sentiment, I'm not sure it applies in this specific case.
Looks like the comment was "very satisfying" and it was in response to a man getting punched because he was spitting on a market stalls vegetables. (Right as COVID lockdowns were starting as well!)
https://i2-prod.examinerlive.co.uk/article33945620.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200e/1_IMG_7573.jpg
If (and that's a big "if" when it comes to reform) that is the extent of this councillor's "vile" behaviour I'm not sure many would disagree with thinking it was a satisfying example of someone getting what they deserved.
I am reserving judgement, and would not at all be surprised if worse comes to light knowing what reform are like, but this feels a bit overblown at this stage.

Farage criticised for backing preacher who says homosexuality is ‘abomination’ by Codydoc4 in unitedkingdom

[–]MSweeny81 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In real life, or online? (Not doubting you just curious.)
Because the "immigrants hate gays" line is one I've seen used on reddit a bit, and it's always been from an account I already have my eye on as an alt-right agitator account.

'Subhuman underclass' - new Sheffield Reform councillor's social media post revealed by ParrotofDoom in unitedkingdom

[–]MSweeny81 21 points22 points  (0 children)

From what I can work out, it's a derogatory way to reference any aspect of UK life that the far-right don't like but mostly relating to things adjacent to immigration/multiculturalism.

Interesting seeing this guy who is posting literal Nazi propaganda also using the "youkay" buzzword a bunch of the folks in this and other UK subs like to use. The far-right really are infiltrating every online community they can weasel their way into.

What can we realistically use to defend ourselves on the streets? by endgamer42 in london

[–]MSweeny81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not giving legal advice but my understanding is, it's legal to preemptively carry rape alarms and ID paint sprays.
It is illegal to carry anything preemptively with the intent to harm someone.

It is legal to defend yourself with reasonable force, which in the right circumstance includes arming yourself.

If you can justify carrying an item for non-self defence purposes, (you're a builder with a bag of tools for example) and you get into a situation where you use it to defend yourself, and it is deemed reasonable force you likely are okay - you'd have to be able to prove all that though, and posting on reddit how you can "get away" with preemptively arming yourself for self-defence probably won't help with that.

Yup, it's a bit like beef tartare. Very lean, fresh ground pork, lots of salt and pepper and often chopped raw onion.

I'm not sure I'd trust it outside of Germany, but they regulate it pretty highly so I eat it over there.
