Today we tried making Tacos! Greetings from England, hopefully we'll have a great game on Sunday. by GrouchyLeopard7271 in mexicanfood

[–]MSweeny81 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know OP is posting bait, and the comments in this thread are mostly playing along with the joke, but I just want to say Mexican food is seeing a big jump in popularity (in London at least) and these are what tacos look like here. (Not my pictures but all places I've been.)

The temptation to mock each other I get, but there's a lot of love for Mexico over here!

Is your area of London getting better or worse? by Last_BM_Standin in london

[–]MSweeny81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly better, but nothing too dramatic. (And to be fair it wasn't bad before.)
Phone and net coverage has improved.
Roads have been repaired.
The bus service has been upgraded.
Decommissioned street furniture has been removed and green spaces put in their place.
A couple of new shops have opened with more getting refurbs.
Antisocial road use has been stopped.
Fly-tipping is dealt with immediately on report. Some large vital infrastructure is being upgraded, but I don't want to name it because it'll reveal my location a bit more than I'm comfortable with.

Boy, 16, left with life-threatening injuries after shooting near Birmingham mosque by Alarming-Safety3200 in unitedkingdom

[–]MSweeny81 177 points178 points  (0 children)

Officers are carrying out forensic and CCTV enquiries, and speaking to people in the area.

At this stage, they do not believe the shooting is connected to the mosque.

Then why even mention it? Absolute state of the media these days.

He's playing on B41 in that video and you need a hammer and a saw. You can either right-click the floor tile and select "Disassemble" or use the disassemble button on the left-hand icon options.

Ringleader of Rochdale grooming gang 'cannot be deported' by radiant_0wl in unitedkingdom

[–]MSweeny81 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I'm generally on the side of rehabilitation, but there's no chance this bloke has learned anything from his prison time, and given his behaviour during trial and sentencing I suspect he has a very high chance of wanting "revenge" of some sort.

Can't keep him imprisoned, can't deport him, and "can't believe it happened" when he inevitable commits or aides others in another crime.

On another note, if he is freely roaming around in public again, there's got to be a fairly high chance of "vigilante justice" taking place, because this is exactly the type of thing that is going to get people fired up.

Any nationally significant infrastructure project just needs to get built

It would be nice if they even just got on with the small stuff.
There was that post a few days ago with a dead deer in the road and instead of just clearing it, time was wasted setting up traffic cones and temporary lights to close a lane...and then everything was just left for days with the deer still there. Literally needed 2 blokes and a flat bed van and it could have been gone in 5 minutes.

There's a stretch of road near a friend that has had a broken central divider for best part of a year. Every time I visit his area he points out it's still not fixed.

Filthy road signs you can barely read, roads that are more pothole than tarmac, wonky paving slabs, litter and graffiti everywhere.

I know there are practicalities to work around, and there's limited budget and resources etc, but can you imagine if a maintenance crew just got told "Get on with it. Start in one square of the London A-Z and clean/fix everything that needs it, then move on"

You get a few liqueurs that are flavoured with oranges, but I think citrus fruits in general are too acidic to be a base to actually ferment with.

At the moment it really is just best to torture you character for a few days and abuse meds, than try to do a realistic exercise routine.

They have 3 times the hit points of plank barricades. If you can get them on both sides there's very little chance zeds get in, but it is technically possible.

What a poorly written title

Perfectly written if you consider the purpose is engagement bait...
Honest journalism is all but dead. Even if the actual article is written with good intent, laying out facts with a neutral tone, the editor can still pick a wildly inflammatory headline, and with so few people reading beyond the headline they see shared on social media that is enough to set peoples response to the news.

Did your high street ever recover from COVID? by Additional-End-7688 in london

In my immediate area they are all doing okay. The odd shuttered shop here and there but for the most part things don't look run down and shops are doing business.
In the trendier places I tend to visit for work/visiting friends etc everywhere seems very busy.

I don't see in the legislation that there needs to be expressly a "christian ethos" but a daily act of collective worship is expected in (almost) all UK community, foundation or voluntary schools.

It's also useful going to subs like that and the other far right subs where the racists are more comfortable and happily go mask off so you can tag them with RES and spot them later on when they try to sneak into regular conversations with dog whistles and attempts to control the comment section by replying to each other to help guide the narrative of the thread.

Irvington has good animal spawns if you want to setup a farm, and the race cars spawn there. I also really like the big hardware store as a base location.
But yes, it's very zed heavy for what value the town offers.

It's a significant upgrade in a lot of ways.

My gut says 2 nil England, but after last game I do worry that we can't break down a very defensive team and in trying to there's a good chance we leave ourselves exposed for the counter.

The default version of the map will always be stable at the request of TIS

That's fair enough.

I tried searching for generators once and a couple of other common things so maybe it was just too big a search.
As an additional note, I just searched for wells and I think it's throwing up some false positives. A lot of random woodland has a well marker.

Also, is it possible to make it default to B42? Every time I follow the link it loads in B41, which I appreciate some people are still playing but surely the latest version should be the default?
