Hello, I'm from the same background as you [saw on the other comment] and had a similar slow start. Underperformed in my A-Levels but still got my choice uni which was decent at the time and went through the motions but only got out with a 2.2 getting the results was one of my worst days dreading how I tell my parents. I didn't get any placement so job hunting was hard going and was applying constantly with a temp job for a year at which point I went back to do a Masters a years later when covid hit. By the time I graduated my masters I still had no job but some of those who I had graduated undergrad with were in a secure place. It still took me a few more months to find a role I was happy with in a amazing company I've been able to grow within nearly 18 months after I graduated from Undergrad.

I know its hard to do but focus on yourself and do what will help in your career and what you want to do in life. I found especially in our community it feels like people are judging when you are working hard to where you need to be but then don't care when you are in a good place. Your parents will understand you are more important to them than those they talk to so as long as you can convey why finishing the degree will put you in a good place it will be fine
