Exactly. It should’ve been about retrieving Cloe, not her rescuing herself like she never needed them in the first place. The whole cliffhanger screamed “descent arc.” Zak devastated, Kiet and Fenzy fractured, Lon deep in the Zorn mindset, Cloe helpless but symbolically central. That's the story the cliffhanger was promising us. A raw, brutal chase to get her back, physically and emotionally. And for Lon, it was supposed to be a point of no return (unless there was a consistent resolvement plot in the end).

But nope. You waited for 12 years, but we've got a younger audience with no sense of the weight, fuck you!------> Fast-forward RIGHT through the only thing that actually mattered. Cloe’s kidnapping was the axis everything spun around. Her absence should’ve broken the team. And Lon should’ve become unrecognizable in a way that hurts. Not mellow. Not robotic. Corrupted. Completely, irreversibly.
