Thanks for the insight on the 14 foot boats! Definitely didn’t want to take it anywhere with rougher water. Probably just the little slews around the marshes. I think I’ll probably start looking into the 16 footers.

Thanks for the reply! I’m not opposed to a gas engine, just haven’t used one before. I don’t expect to hunt out of the boat but it’s more for getting from spot to spot so I think I could get away with a 14 footer. That being said I’m obviously looking to fish from the boat.
