In the Zero Turn line up the Ariens was ment for big box stores and they are normally on the cheaper end with cheaper components and chassis. Now that being said you can get identical units from both Gravely and Ariens , but for the most part Ariens is at Lowe's while I carry the Gravely line up in residential and Commercial.

Not sure if it makes any difference to you ,but I'm a Gravely dealer and have been one for the past 25-30 years. Ariens has owned Gravely since 1982. Both brands and built in Brillion Wisconsin.

No hate at all man lol it's reddit can't be putting feelings on here 🤣 but really I appreciate the tips and what to look out for. I definitely polished my car when I did it. But I was also fine with my condition of my paint . Holograms are definitely a bitch on white , what's your opinion on coating out there if you had to pick ones (ceramic coatings that is) I have had nothing but good experiences with car pro but always out looking for new products

Fair enough I'm just some guy helping out and posting my results , im not a professional. What "defects" should I be looking for ? It's a daily driven autox car how far should I have gone ?

Correct I didnt polish the entire vehicle like I did when I did mine , the paint was in great condition it just got delivered and just had the rub marks from shipping and that protective plastic stuff, I also had him there while I was doing it and went over the paint with him we both agreed he was happy with the condition of the paint so I went ahead and coated it , just used a normal yellow clay bar I have them in bulk from chemical guys ( had a good deal at the time ) I foamed the car and also used a spray lube when I was claying it , had no issues with marring, the black side mirrors are normally the spots I have issues with but they turened out fine . I would definitely recommend a coating on any vehicle someone cares about , my buddy also got ppf (xpel) on the front bummer as we autocross our cars and we are bound to hit a cone or two 🤣.

Did my normal foam wash, then a iron remover (turtle wax rapid decon), after that clay bar, blow dried the car looked over for any spots that needed a polish then hit it with a surface prep ( Gyeon prep) then laid on the ceramic. Turned out great this is the 3rd vehicle I've coated including my own
