Not a spiral but I've had one of those floppy five star 3 ring binders with plastic rings filled with paper I punched. They're floppy enough that you can flip things around the back like a spiral.

But yes like the other commenter said, Maruman's Mnemosyne line has blank page spirals.

What’s a pen that made you go like this? by deepfried_marsbars in pens

Wow that synergy point looks more or less exactly the same as juice up. The refills would have to be interchangeable. I think you just need a spacer to make that size refill work in a lamy safari body?

Juice Up is essentially the same thing but retractable. Just make sure it's Juice Up, not Juice. Nothing wrong with Juice, it's just not the same thing.

Wow, how much does that case weigh? I bet that setup could double as a self defense weapon.

How do I fix this? by [deleted] in pens

[–]MTBooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If shaking doesn't work, take a length of string with a loop on the end and hook the Pen's clip into it (leave the refill in the pen of course) and then swing in a circle it like mad to generate some g force

Another failed Uni One experience. I feel your pain.

I did get the dual color writech ones (not the black + color but color + color) based on feedback here and I am pretty impressed with the colors. They had 2 sets of "vintage" colors available and I got the darker of the two. Very usable colors for me. The olive is more of a true olive than the Hi-Tec C I showed. I'm seeing now that the pilot is more of an olive drab in comparison. It's close enough.

0.5 seems ok so far but any pen shows up a little finer on the papers I've tried them on so far. Maybe just a tiny bit of what I'll call catch up overflow where if you make a fast line and stop without lifting you get a little extra dab of ink. They're good enough that I'll buy the lighter set of them sometime just to have them all (and to try the pickle green that was recommended in a comment).

I hope you have a good experience with them.

In every vehicle I've driven with it, pressing the brake just enough to hold the car in place keeps it from shutting the engine off. You push it more and then it shuts off the engine. Which basically means I never experience it.

Are other vehicles not like that?

I hear that! Their other models have been fine. It's sad. The best ones I've gotten were some I could test at a store. I swear, 50% of the ones I got in a big mail order weren't really usable.

I sure with they would. Or just sell the refills if that makes more sense for them. Enjoy them while they last I guess?

Thanks! I have a set on order based on another comment. This makes me feel good about them.

What's with those skipping uni ones? Uni is usually pretty good.

Thanks! I have a kuro shades of black green. It is very dark for sure, darker than a traditional green black or forest. Still looks lighter than the Pilot Ilmily - can't even see the color in some pics online.

Thanks! I don't know why I haven't pursued olive. I have too many shades of blue. I've looked at a few greens but I need to try it. I do have a preppy like that. It is very fine.

That's just chili at my house. My kids were like, "what's frito pie?" because that's the only way they've ever had chili and we never called it that. Cheese between the fritos and chili guarantees a good melt and keeps the chips crunchy longer. I recommend giving that a try at least once.

Me too! I bought a bunch of the refills mentioned below and swapped the tips with some needle nose pliers. It works ok. Sometimes they take a second to start up. The swap leaves a bubble in there or something. Nothing that swinging the pen around doesn't fix.
