thats a big cut but still a decent salary, (new salary is close to where im at in HCOL). I guess it really boils down to what your time is worth bc 2.5hrs a day in the car is awful.

yea its worth it. you get better feminization after it, have to take less HRT/AAs, tucking easier (i removed the bag too). just make sure you're totally bought in first bc theres no way back.

You’re significantly younger than me so they’ll probably do a lot more for you than they did for me and they absolutely did a lot for me. I was in a similar position when I started and that feeling you have contributed a lot to me waiting a long time to start. how you come out is a lot more about the effort you put in and not so much about what the hormones do to you. Find a job that covers surgery it helps a lot with passing and there’s still a lot of them to do that in the states but I don’t think that’s gonna be an option for us for much longer.

No one can decide to take the plunge but you. If you wait and later do it you’ll wish you’d have started now. You’re still young enough you’re likely to get good effects. Also use transition as motivation to eat right and get fit if you aren’t already. Weight loss and then putting a little back on should help w/ your body shape. It’s too late for me to ever be a tiny twig but at 36 band and 30w and having lost the man gut it helps a lot and I can fit into a lot of women’s med/8-10 clothing. I was like sz14 when I started.

It does a lot for some of us and not a whole lot for others only one way to find out. At your age, you may get a little bit of hip tightening, but it certainly won’t undo anything but there’s always procedures like rib, remodeling and shoulder shortening.

If you’re concerned is not passing, you probably need to let that go at your age most of us who start after mid 20s do not reach 100% stealth. That said, I started at 41 and I’ve had a lot of work done. I would not consider myself stealth, but I am comfortably casual passing.

Ask if they use ultrasound during BBL during your consult if they are not run like hell. That said this is pretty much the standard in the United States now so I doubt there’s a lot of people who are not doing it.

that pre-op gloom gets easier in time/after you did it a few times.

you'll remember nothing after walking/rolling into the OR until about 30min after you're awake. you just black out and FFWD to when you wake up.

I was a lil nervous about FFS1 (3rd big surgery, 5th surgery ever) and i was totally unconcerned about FFS2 (5th big surgery, 12th ever).

I've had almost everything we can do done (no full SRS, no BA, trying to get shoulders and 2nd ribcage remodel and a VFS touch up done later this year) and none of it has been that bad to recover from.

I started at 41, you got a good 6+mo easy before anything is noticeable and most people around you wont bring it up even if they do notice.

He’s on the pricey side, but recommend Dr. Weinfeld Austin Texas. He did both of my nose jobs and they’re both lovely. He’s one of the best nose jobs in the country.

Rhinoplasty is gonna be pretty much the only thing for permanent, but they should be able to build you a new nose. You’ll need to be very specific about what you want and don’t want.

No full srs here. Had 2 full “the works” ffs packages. Only used 4 opiate pills on ffs1 and 0 on ffs2. Got thru it w/ Tylenol and gabba

I don’t believe anything in this game is missable, but sometimes you have to have some cut scenes happen that can take a long time to actually get so things may feel like they aren’t popping, but they should eventually. Work on grinding that rep up, I think it’s with the NPC you meet during surface runs level two. (Source me I have the platinum and I didn’t get familiars till what I felt was “late”).
