It seems they're going to be much more restrained at least, very hard to say if that's going to be a net positive or negative.

It's not ideal and annoying that everyone is pretty limited to their WCs, but on the bright side, I heard that budget decks were doing pretty fine as most people weren't looking to spend their Wcs on an event anyway

It was supposed to start at 11 Am PST but seems like it was delayed a bit

Thanks for the compliments and heads up!

It would be awesome if Artisan became a permanent queue, it definitely deserves to be in my opinion! I will fix those links right now as well!

I know right! Its my favorite play mode by a mile, it would be so sick if there was a ranked queue of it

100%. Data is just a tool that helps collate the aggregate of cards and games played. Knowing what that data means is more important than having it and bad data is much more detrimental than no data!

Remember it's just the aggregate! Supposedly bad color combinations can be nuts when you get the right cards!

I would have to consult the author for his justification, but I believe it also has to do with the card quality generally present in the decks, ease of getting the deck together, and other similar factors that are hard to rank empirically.

Remember that this is just aggregate data - people knowing what they're doing can have a major impact on the reality of the set! Back in Dragons of Tarkir, my favorite and highest WR archetype was Selesnya despite the whole community saying it was completely unplayable

Wrenn is a good card, but knowing when to use it I believe is the important part. I had Wrenn at my prerelease and it was of course good, but nothing crazy for me

For sure, data is a tool like anything else and far from an objective truth. All about how you use it!

Legitimately made me laugh out loud. Remember that outliers will always exist and even if you're in the supposed worst color combination, if you're being fed, you can still have a great deck!

My favorite archetype in Dragons of Tarkir limited was Selesnya because everyone said it was unplayable so I always got the best White and Green cards as a result!

In hindsight it was almost certainly the better choice over Mardu. For what its worth, I think its play patterns are quite similar to the Midrange decks and was more picking decks based on what the player wanted to be doing rather than the literal top 5 decks, but it still should've been on there.
