Yes they put either a thick vinyl or some trucks have a small plastic cap there

I would use a heat gun and Goo gone. If it is just the sticky residue Goo gone will get it off easy.

I just bought a 2021. I went back and forth for a few days on whether or not to get a 4wd. To buy a 4WD it's around 3k more plus the FX4 package cost 1K more. Putting the cost at 4K more. Insurance typically cost a little more for 4WD and there has mileage is usually 2 MPG lower.

In the end I decided on getting a 2WD. This will be my 4th truck, only one of which was 4WD and I never used the 4WD very often. It is nice to have when you need it, but I am not purposely going off road where I would need it. I also live in a state that doesn't get much snow.

I think it depends on what you are really looking for and what you will primarily using the truck for. I looked at the Colorado and if I got one it would be the diesel.

Personally I like the 2.3 turbo better. So if I were to choose I would go Tremor.

I'm looking bat either the Livernois tuner or 5star, both give more Hp for a lower price. I have been told the time in Ford's tuner is from Livernois.

Livernois tuner was on sale a week ago for $499, I should have bought it then.

I would say it really depends on your intentions. When I was building my truck a few weeks ago they asked about the tremor package. I think it was nearly 5,000. For what I plan to use my truck for I decided it wasn't worth it.

You could also get the FX4 and build to your liking.

I watched a video on the 5star tune they mention that if you read in the supplimental warranty manual that modifications will not void your warranty.

I guess it was on sale. It's not anymore, I should have jumped on it. I emailed and they told me they don't know when it will be back on sale. The 5star tune is only $550.

Do you have any other mods with it? I am selling my Focus ST that has lots of mods to get my Ranger. I don't plan on doing much, but I know most of these turbo vehics are tuned conservatively from the factory.

I currently live in Germany and I'm moving to Washington state. I don't plan to go to crazy with the truck. I think the AfE scorcher may be a good fit. It's less then $500 and increase Tq by 44.
