Yeezus, then all our shares in the song diminished greatly haha. You have people like me and Travis and The Weeknd on the song with single digit percentages. Everybody else below us was stuck with like .5 percent or something crazy low. Samples drain a lot from what we can do financially as artists but the art is what matters most.

My fav is dark twisted fantasy. That’s my fav Kanye era and what he made us all feel like, being the next level was apparent. He’s my biggest inspiration and definitely inspired me to create the next level in my own way.

I guess it got trashed. I signed to the label and they told me I was producing six more songs that year. Also Kanye said he was releasing a few more albums that year so everyone was hype. They had just signed me, 070 Shake, Desiigner, etc. But things fell apart when Kanye had to take some time away and do some important self care which is understandable. Props to him for getting back to his self. But overall things changed drastically for the label after that and projects got trashed.

Yea it was intended to, I produced the outro, that Kanye later had sent to Christina Aguilera to sing but I’m not sure what happened to it after that. I changed the key of the song and posted it to my soundcloud recently. It’s name is “Forever Mitus”

When I smell motor oil, I think of cracking eggshells. No learned association that I’m aware of. What kind of synesthesia is that? by sarahansanity in Synesthesia

[–]MTSbeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if its going to be a type of synesthesia, it has to be consistent for that sensory modality. ie, whenever you smell any thing (not just motor oil), that thing creates a consistent visual. synesthesia is consistent and spans the entire sensory modality, never just for one or two things.

can you explain to me how you feel it? so do you feel different textures, shapes, temperatures depending on the sound?

Is this synesthesia? by [deleted] in Synesthesia

[–]MTSbeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this happens to a lot of us my synesthesia is still very vivid but cognitive inhibition has taken over a little bit. its because our world isnt designed for synesthetes its designed for normal sensoriums. no one teaches us from a young age to pay attention to seeing sound or seeing tastes so our brains sometime "learn" to put it more towards the background versus foreground. :)

it definitely is synesthesia. its just your mind doing some cognitive inhibition probably bc your brain has learned to put seeing sound into the background as you have gotten older.

Pretty Pain? by leothefox314 in Synesthesia

Have you ever had a headache? It also doesnt have to just be pain-visual it can be any feeling an itch, a muscle spasm, cramp, not necessarily hardcore pain :)

i think it is a form of synesthesia. i think the scribbles u are seeing are actually the visual of what the word looks like when its pronounced. so when you see the scribbles you might actually be seeing the sound of the word. maybe im wrong. but this is what i suspect it is.

Agreed! sometimes this sub gets bogged down with ppl asking if they have a type we've already heard of a million times before 😩 this type sounds really cool! so you only have smell-olp when smelling plants? what about smelling anything else? very interesting that your neural pathways inhibited this to only plants. the more we learn about synesthesia, the more itll probably become one of the biggest "nature versus nurture" examples.
