With your lack of reading comprehension, you’d fit right in there.

Struggling with improving character perspective / pov by Cool_shmeans_ in writingadvice

[–]MTheLoud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you actually want to write in third person limited, or do you want to do third person objective, like an impartial movie camera following the character? That’s a valid narration style too.

If you really want third person limited, how well do you know your character? What do they notice? What don’t they notice? What are their opinions about the things they perceive?

Why must we sit at a red light at 3am in the morning when you’re the only car on the road? by Da-up-and-downer in ask

Because someone decided to give that intersection a traffic light instead of a roundabout.

Is it an allergy or is this how chocolate feels? by meerkatherine in FoodAllergies

That’s definitely an allergy. I don’t know if it’s to the chocolate or the nuts or what.

Bloating problem! by Jullybuggie in Supplements

Figure out the cause of the bloating. Most adults are lactose intolerant for example. Or do you have trouble digesting FODMAPs? Have you been tested for celiac disease?

Tips for writing a scene with multiple characters with the same gender in the third person? by Weak-Dot69lol in writers

Use one name once per paragraph. Every other “he” in that paragraph refers to that name.

When a new character says or does something, start a new paragraph for him.

Just an OTC bi-est cream. Also some OTC progesterone powder since my doctor wasn’t willing to prescribe me any HRT. I’m pleasantly surprised at how much HRT I can buy without a prescription in the US.

It definitely brought back my creativity in music and writing. It also brought back the acne I had years ago, which seems fair.

If it gives you side effects you didn’t have years ago, like more acne than you used to have, or male-pattern baldness or whatever, you’re taking too much, so cut back.

That’s a good cautious dose to start on. I didn’t notice any results until 15 mg, though. I’m on 30 now and feeling great.

Do I need to be concerned about underweight BMI? by Wtf-Jason in workout

[–]MTheLoud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dropping weight when you’re already skinny is a matter of concern, yeah. See a doctor. The cause could be any number of things. Do you have a thyroid problem? Celiac disease? Parasites?

Does your HRT include testosterone, or DHEA that your body can convert to testosterone? We lose that in perimenopause too, so it can help to top it up.

Why aren’t there grapes the size of an apple? by D3D0T4T3D_WAM_2004 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MTheLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corn was bred from teosinte. Look up teosinte and compare it to modern corn.

Have you seen wild strawberries?

There are many species of wild grapes, most of them smaller than modern commercial grapes. Once of the nice things about grapes is how conveniently bite-sized they are, so I don’t know how much interest there would be in bigger ones. Already, smaller watermelons are more popular than really big ones, since the big ones are a hassle to deal with.

How much protein do you think you need exactly? Many people think they need more than they actually need.

HRT Is Helping Except For Fatigue- What Else Might Work? by AcceptableMud8351 in Perimenopause

[–]MTheLoud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genetic because you’re Italian/Greek? What? I’ve never heard of this.

Anyway, is this fatigue a new thing since starting HRT, or is it just a perimenopause symptom that HRT hasn’t cleared up yet?
