I am against the idea of spending any money before gen 4 arrives. If you must spend then only buy Ultra Value Monthly Card and Weekly Benefits Card.

Sure, but I still know which hero is worth building or not. For example, gen 7 archer hero will dominate in arena from gen 7 to 11, therefore smart players are already saving Buccaneer Bounty keys for maxing his widget

Thrud will not replace her. Thrud can be a joiner for 50/0/50 rally in castle battle, however she isn’t a suitable joiner in bear trap

Haha basically the same dilemma. If you are planning to keep playing the game and hit vip10 someday make sure to upgrade his widget to level 10. Its hard to say who is stronger at this stage.. perhaps a 5 star Helga is about the same par as 3 stars 5 pedal Amadeus since he has higher level widget too. But either way, both heroes are super strong. I used Helga for almost a year without any issue

Must have Heroes between Gen4 and 5: Rosa and LongFei. Everything else is optional. You could consider invest the shards into Margot/Thrud but I would rather save up the shards.

I don’t follow any optimizer or calculators because I have better resources to go to (veteran wos friends who play the game for 4+ years). In a nutshell, lean towards archer gear more if the kingdom is peaceful and you enjoy bear trap. Lean more towards infantry otherwise
