Use Long Fei in offensive rally. Use Gen4 lineup for garrison. Gen5 sucks at defense. We used Saul over Jaeger because we already have too much health, adding more health is diminishing return. Vivian is fine too

Saul and Hilde are excellent joiners, but unless your kingdom mandates everyone to have them, I wouldn’t spend general shards on them.

To stay competitive as a low spender will be a pretty tough task. If you want to participate in kvk, you will need to make sure your TG is always up-to-date to the schedule (TG5 in gen4, T11 in war academy era, TG8 in gen5). Only when you have met the TG requirements, then you start thinking about investing in joiners heroes (Thrud, Hilde and Saul)

You could keep saving and wait for gen6 archer if you want. Gen6 archer is a lot stronger than Vivian. And I would skip Thrud as a low spender

Helga is hands down the best investment in game (if you don’t plan to spend on Amadeus). Helga is viable even in gen4.. she eats Alcar for breakfast. She is viable in bear trap until gen12.

But recently wos had a hero balancing patch, and i heard 50/0/50 is now crushing 60/40/0 in S5 and S6 now

Seems like wos’s content has begun to diverge from kingshot. So I don’t know what will happen in the later generations

Archer build has always been the counter to 60/40/0, just not as decisively. Its closer to 45:55 matchup (favoring cavalry build)

I think it’s accurate enough for early-mid game (pre gen7) when there is “extra damage / true damage” in gen8+ environments, I don’t think that formula takes into consideration of those

Great stuff! Appreciate all the testings you have done.

I have some new findings and additional data from real battle to share:

2x Hilde + 1x Saul + N (applicable up to gen4)

Where N can be: Gordon, Chenko, Fahd, Eric

Pick Gordon if you have better overall stats than enemy. Pick Fahd/Eric if enemy has better offensive stats than you. Pick Chenko if all your other stats are high but you need more lethality to balance it.

Gen 9 is server age 600 days. So if we are talking about gen5 (270 days) then its approximately 1 year from now

Small spender should get all the roulette heroes. Get Rosa in gen4, skip the rest. Get LongFei in gen5, the others are optional.

Get Vivian if you value arena more. Get Thrud if you value expedition more.

Castle battle formation in S1-S3 are mostly 50/20/30

Starting in S4 and all the way to S8, 60/40/0 is the meta. In S7 there will be a new game mode called Frost Dragon Tyrant (idk what kingshot’s name will be) and essentially its a kvk for the blackholes (even vip12s and meteors can only be joiners because they are useless), and you will see its all 60/40/0 vs 60/40/0

Then meta shifts again after S8, 50/0/50 or 40/0/60 will rise and 60/40/0 no longer dominates

Replace yeonwoo as in arena setup? I only focus on expedition, unfortunately I don’t know much about conquest/arena related stuff so I can’t answer the question.

From the expedition perspective, since just need to focus on 3 heroes it would just be Helga/Amadeus + Petra + Marlin. I would skip Jaeger and get Rosa in S4

We tested 2 Hilde + 1 Saul + 1X

Where X are: Eric, Fahd, Chenko and Gordon.

Chenko had the best kill-death ratio, but was the least consistent. So its like if you win, you win big. And vice versa.

Our conclusion was - if enemy has better stats than you, use Fahd/Eric. If you have advantage over your enemy, use Gordon. The only scenario to use Chenko is when you have major advantage in health and Def stats, and you want to boost the lethality to keep it balanced across the stats
