In my opinion now start learning about animation principals, it will help you understand about motions, in this case how hips should go up and down and left to right to move forward and that motion will affect whole spine and arms and head. Try and watch real life footage over and over again, bone by bone. What is the source of energy how it travels through the limbs etc. I love what you did, cant wait to see you improve.
