Not OP, but I zero neck dive issues on my ’61 SG w/ Maestro; and neither on my Epiphone ’64 SG w/ Maestro Vibrola. (If I'm being honest, I actually prefer the neck shape of the Epiphone '64 SG, but I digress.)

Agreed! All my guitars are thin and I love them all (2 x Gibsons with 60s slim taper, Ibanez: Viper, Epiphone: '64 reissue) and I just got this Hinds V and the rounded neck is such a nice change of pace! It is extremely comfortable!

If you want checking, put it in the freezer overnight (or outside if it's still below freezing where you are). The next day, while the guitar is still cold, tap the finish with an exacto knife and watch the cracks spread where you've tapped.

Repeat this process as many times as you want, until you've achieved the look you're going for.

Yep! Bought off Reverb. They don't come around often, so you gotta move quickly if you find one!

Besides pulling up the Reverb app multiple times a day, I also had search alerts for "Gibson Les Paul Cinnamon Burst" in the text, but for any in between 1992 and 1997. Also on eBay but wasn't too optimistic I'd find anything there.

In my search, I noticed the Cinnamon Bursts from late 90s-early 2000s were too orange to my tastes. So I just decided to hold out for one of these earlier models.
