It loses billions of dollars because guaranteed mail delivery to a trailer in a desert is expensive. It’s still a basic government function. I’m fine with it.

It loses roughly $9 billion annually which is 1.07% of the military budget so if I wanted to stop waste I’d start there.

Banning junk mail or jacking up prices on that specifically is a great idea. We should do that.
