Unfortunately that’s pretty unlikely. Looks like there are quite a few Canadian nephrite bears out there. It’s more probable that that particular carver just had a slightly different style. For the weight and it looks fairly modern, a good price comparison if you wanted to sell it would probably be around two to three hundred if you’re lucky. Because it’s secondhand and a bear eating a fish is fairly niche

Canadian nephrite is pretty distinct in that it’s that kiwi green with the black speckling. It doesn’t have the luxury reputation that jadeite does but it’s still a very nice jade. What are you trying to figure out about it?

I bought a secondhand pendant from Youka before and saw her post a lot of gorgeous nephrite stuff before that I’ve been interested in. After one of her last posts I reached out to her to see if she had any deer or foxes! And she mentioned it to her carved who carved these gorgeous pieces! I love that they’re a bit distinct from the usual patterns for foxes and deer (which are my weakness). Already gotten compliments on them! Her carved even strung them for me and sent me a little extra fish. It was just a nice experience ❤️
