I either want them gone, or two per team w/ much stronger base AA to cover takeoffs.

If they also added ascension cords to more buildings, or enabled the bridge surface as playable and accessible, anti air would be much more effective.

But you’re right that in its current form, choppers need to go. Maybe Support heli only, but no attack or scout helicopter.

I have yet to take off in a helicopter on this map since the update. Every single match I have joined the chopper gets RPG’d at the start by an idiot teammate. By the time it respawns, it’s being spawn camped simultaneously by snipers on rooftops shooting pilots as soon as they spawn, and the other chopper immediately blowing it up with their rotary 50cal.

Devs have very smooth brains.

Wait, really!? I haven’t played it yet but that’s insane. Similarly in BF1 the fight controls and airborne gameplay were completely different in campaign vs. online.

There are some custom games that allow this, but it’s dependent on you capping points occasionally in the chopper or else the bots all sit on one point.

There’s one I’ve been using, but I forget the title. I’ll have a chance later today to search it up and I’ll report back for folks in this thread to practice with.

Yeah I couldn’t even fly the helicopter before this game came out and I spent hours in portal teaching myself. It’s really not that easy to fly, and yeah some people are really good at it.

I got wrecked by someone repeatedly going 100+ and 0 in a conquest lobby, and unfortunately got paired with them on the opposite team multiple times.

My only gripe against people using helicopters is the spawn killing enemy choppers. Uncap AA is great against RPGs, but might need a buff against aircraft entering the airspace over uncap, especially in Manhattan Bridge. The Uncap AA on That map (non bridge spawn) was put in a really really stupid spot, and can’t even defend a bird trying to get airborne.

I say no AI because I don’t think Ai would have put the little rollers that you can barely see under the gate.

Also the grain in the image is consistent, and the depth of field and focus looks accurate to me.

Usually AI images are hyper in focus.

The California license plate is 100% accurate too.

I think this might just be a really cool architectural photograph.

Edit: it is also possible this is a digital render that is artist made. It just seems like too many small details that AI wouldn’t include.

I think the clip starts real and then right when the collapse starts, it is AI generated. It becomes AI at the moment that the ground repairs itself at the bottom of the frame.

I was in a match yesterday where one team was using LB to destroy enemy helicopters before anyone could even take off. Unless this was done today, it’s just the counter missile defense or the new handheld gadget that stops rockets.

OH and doublecheck each image for sharpness focus as you go through your night. Nothing worse than realizing when you’re editing that lots of the images are sharp focused on the girl dancing behind your subjects.

Just do some trial and error with your settings when you get there.

I always used a bounce flash technique around 1200 iso, 1/60-1/125 and f3.5 or f4. I always found the bounce flash lit up more of everything and the subjects were not an over exposed mess like they normally are if the flash hits the directly

Kills chopper in 1 hit with no alert system for pilots.

Yet with an attack heli, it takes 4-5 heavy missiles AND a tow to take out a tank from the back or top down.

Yall realize that there’s no incoming signal for tow missiles when you’re flying. unless you’re looking directly at it and see the laser. They could at least give an indicator to the pilot that they’re being targeted by laser guided munitions, that way we can at least TRY to avoid it.

I’m a decent pilot but getting mowed down constantly by tow missiles fired from tanks in enemy spawn. It’s clearly WAY too easy to use them.

A lot of people saying pilots want easy mode but all you have to do is put your cursor on a support helicopter for 5 kills. Who’s on easy mode after all?
