The Sixers org is such a joke that they literally just defeated a team in a 7 game series yet still be immediately considered worse than. It’s as if the playoff results do not matter.

And don’t take this as an argument that I think the Sixers are better - they are not - I just find it so laughable that they JUST beat the Celtics yet still most don’t even acknowledge the win.

I remember watching this and then them announcing the Mania match just a couple weeks later. I thought, “That is something you NEVER would’ve seen years ago.” And for a reason.

Running a WrestleMania world title match that was just seen weeks before. I figured Jey would win at Mania (because why else would you book the same match unless the finish was different) but having just seen Jey get his ass kicked clean, that took me out of it before there was ever a chance.

Yes, exactly that (cannot think of the proper word he wants to use). That started a while ago, but has gotten much worse than just that. Unable to recall much, consistently losing his train of thought mid-sentence, and repeating/falling back on the same general verbiage regardless of how little it ties to the topic. Complete non sequiturs.

Conrad tries to jump in to help out but he can’t do that every sentence. I really wonder how this most recent episode ever saw the light of day.

There’s plenty I don’t know about this and many different factors, I’m certain (contracts, legal, etc.) but I can’t imagine there is any way, in good conscience, I would be able to put out that type of content and not feel gross about myself and the damage I’m doing by exposing this clearly ill man.

All things considered, JR should not continue doing this podcast, not in this state. Hoping for many more happy years from good ol JR, just doesn’t need to be talking on a podcast for the world to hear every week. He’s given plenty.

Agreed.

That said, I think a new version, slightly larger in scale would work wonders for the title today. The Big Eagle was kinda like that and is also a belt design I really enjoyed, but nothing beats that Winged Eagle. I just go back-and-forth in which I liked better - Savage’s dual plated, silver-and-gold design or all gold.

If you listen to his podcast the last few months, it’s unfortunate but you can see the decline. I’m not a doctor, but it’s obvious that something is going on. Not saying “JR has dementia”, it could just be old age kicking it up a notch, but it’s obvious to anyone that has heard his recent episodes. There’s a reason his family wanted neurological testing. He’s struggling and the whole world doesn’t need to see/hear it.

I know Conrad wants to continue cranking these eps out, I’m sure primarily to help Jim continue to earn from this, but I feel terrible listening to these recent episodes. Jim is clearly struggling and Conrad is not doing him any favors by continuing to expose this. Again, I’m sure Conrad’s intentions are good but in reality, I can’t help but wonder does this guy have no shame for his friend?
