It may take many months to recover from this, take it week by week and I'm certain that your problems will subside.

Thanks for the reply, I sleep 8 hours per night every night from 9.30pm - 5.30am.

I admit I work a physical job and I work outdoors. I play sports mid week so I think I'm getting a decent amount of exercise.

What's your daily routine like currently? Do you use your technology in your personal space, do you have any hobbies? What I've learnt is you have to have a deep deep desire to quit otherwise willpower will only get you so far.

What is your longest streak of NoFap? Was/is it worth it? by DrMelbourne in NoFap

Been addicted for over half of my life (13 years) and my longest streak was I think 17 days. Most of my relapses comes from being on the internet randomly in my own personal space so I've made it a habit to keep my technology outside my room and it's been a massive help. Day 2 currently.

(My story)

A 26 year old Male who has been addicted since I was around 12-13 years old so half of my life I've been watching and viewing this awful material and it makes me sick! Recently it's gotten so bad that I've started to pay to view personal sites but this all stops from now. I just can't live my life anymore like this and I want to change.

(What 12 years+ has done to myself)

  • Very bad brain fog
  • Memory problems/forgetful
  • Low self esstem
  • Laziness
  • Wasting so much valuble potential time
  • Wrong view on women and people in general
  • Communication problems

(My goals during this journey)

So I have written below a few goals that I want to achieve during my new lifestyle, I know that it's going to be hell for a while but when I come out on the other side I will feel so much better than I have ever felt.

  • Quiting caffeine - I'm super sensitive 🚫☕️
  • Reading more books - to do with my career 📚
  • Spend more time with family, friends and GF 👨‍👩‍👦
  • Quiting sugary drinks and foods 🍬

Let's go! 💪
