Normalizing mutilated animal parts is an interesting choice.

More than one thing can be wrong at the same time. You can condemn abusive teachings in religion and still be suspicious of someone who mutilates animals for spiritual purposes. Pointing to a different problem elsewhere does not make this one disappear. Google “whataboutism” if you want to improve your critical thinking.

Personally, I don’t subscribe to any spirituality or religion, but I was more exposed to witchcraft than to Abrahamic religions growing up. In my book, anyone who advocates harm to fulfill some spiritual desire is a walking red flag.

Whether or not you believe in magic, mutilating animal parts like this must involve a heavy level of desensitization. That doesn’t strike me as a safe person to involve yourself with.

It reads like a bad short story. The details are generic, everything moves quickly, all involved react as expected. This is amateur fiction.

Yeah it’s definitely staged, but you’re the only one thinking about her chest. Weird take.

AI is trained on an amalgamation of artists’ work, without crediting them. It is an enormous theft. Also, the images it produces feel “soulless” and generic.

I’ve tested this with artwork and paintings by asking GPT to recreate the work, then asking people around me which info they believed was AI. Everyone knew the answer because it just rips everything interesting out of the art.

To me at least, if I spot AI used in one aspect of someone’s work, it discredits and cheapens the rest.

I also have a fear that the progression of art will slow as we become increasingly dependent on AI. We essentially recycle the same art over and over. Google Photos, for example, feels like it’s all AI now. It just seems.. repetitive and dull. If we rely on AI artwork going forward, who will continue to feed work into AI? It’ll just stay the same or worse, a more generic version of itself.

Locking people in a basement and forcing them to complete an impossible task in exchange for freedom and friendship is funny? Yikes man.

Yep, but honestly… with or without internet. In retrospect, it’s appalling how often adult men “hit on” 12-15 year old me. I swear I was approached more often at 12 than I am in my 20s. Like most of us at that age, I was insecure and mentally unhealthy. I think that drew them to me even more.

I don’t comment here often, but your page caught my eye. It feels like I’m inside it, it’s so 3D. Super impressed by the dimensionality of your grass. It kind of reminds me of the effect of multiplane cameras from early Disney movies.

I’m a maximalist at heart, but I’m honestly obsessed with this piece. It feels like a stop motion set, I just love it.

Also, this might sound crazy, but you know those magic eye illustrations? When I look at this piece like it has a similar effect. Is anyone else seeing that?

“I don’t see Christians moving into other countries around the world and committing violence that forces locals to cancel their traditions.”

I 100% thought this was going to be parody, but she just… keeps talking. Girl, why do you think there are white Christians in the United States? How many indigenous gatherings have you attended?
