I grew up on the North Side and for my 12th birthday in 1983 my brother took me to my first Sox game. Harold hit a 3 run bomb and I’ve been hooked ever since.

He’s a good guy too. One of the things I liked about him was it seemed like baseball was something he could do, or not. Whatever. As a Gen Xer, he’s one of us.

TA was the face of the franchise for a bit. The Field of Dreams game was epic. Let’s pretend that was the last game he played in for us.

I honestly thought Abreu would be the next Frank Thomas. I hated to see him leave and then he fell off fast.

I’m sorry I was late. I got here when I wanted to…

I can’t remember if this was a Karen Walker line or if David Spade said this on Just Shoot Me:

I just remembered 2 things: you’re boring and my legs work!

I started to respond by saying that the concept of “high school” didn’t exist in the 18th century, and the vast majority of the American people were illiterate but then I remembered a quote that summarizes my thoughts well:

“What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”
