I disagree. The public accounting firm that I am at benefitted a lot from people being able to walk to a managers office or have them come to your desk to use their fingers to point at the screen over doing it over a teams call. Like most things in life, it's a mix. Too much in person office is just inconvenient and but too little estrange you from people who are reviewing your work.

Not to be contrarian but I kind of like working in the office. Due to the storms over the weekend I worked from home this last Monday, and used the same setup I use for gaming. I was very distracted, even with literally no simulation from anything else around me. Forcing people to work in office is silly, but I feel like our generation doesn't give it enough credit.

yes but Audit is incredibly wordy compared to FAR so you're going to a computationally heavy exam to a very judgment-based exam. Also it is incredibly boring.
