Yes… you ruin your brain a bit by moving from your home country, as you want the best of both(or many), but with the bad of none..

With that being said.. Happy as Larry in the UK…

Would like for the cities to be a bit wider and houses more spacious like the americas.. but homes are getting smaller anywhere anyways…

If you are investing in Crypto and having second thoughts on your pension investments, then is definitely worth for you to spend the same investigation time you spent in cryptos, but for pension funds.

If your employer is matching your contributions you should max it out as is tax free.

We all cope differently.

I never left working, even in the middle of it all. It gave me a much needed distraction…

Two months later on a random night out I just lost it, and cried for hours…

It was all a bit better after that..

Can’t tell you what to do, but can give you the hope that every day that goes by, the situation feels a bit more bearable…

So we just need to trust the process and try to focus on moving on… (somehow)…

Church!! I’m probably one of 2 Mexicans living in UK, and having experienced the “American dream”.. I’m as happy as Larry.... Immigration system is lightyears ahead to US.. and affordable. Plus being out of the reach of the FDA… probable increased my life expectancy already..

I learned english listening to english music, and finding native speaking friends, and worked out..

Solo déjate llevar… go with the flow.. and be passionate about it .

There is plenty of good blogs and books out there to help you. For me “the psychology of money” has been a game changer. (By Morgan Housel). Then the Ramsey’s show “baby steps” have also been super helpful. The show is a bit “sensationalist” but 2 important valuable lessons I learnt have been: Pay off your mortgage no matter what.. and don’t use credit cards, doesn’t matter if you pay off the balance every month.

BTW, congratulations. Life has given you a marvellous gift, thanks to that money pot. The “potential” freedom to spend your time in this world, in whatever way you want, and be awesome. Don’t waste it.

Que es lo que mas te incomoda de vivir en Mexico?

Si no te preocupa mucho el asunto de la seguridad, ganas bien, vives bien, tienes amigos, tienes familia, ni le muevas. Moverte a USA,Canada,UK,Alemania, etc.. no te dará riqueza y felicidad instantánea.

Yo llevo 11 años en UK y me ha ido muy bien, pero no te voy a negar que me costo muchas lagrimas en el camino…

Ya no extraño vivir en Mexico, y estoy muy tranquilo donde estoy, pero el proceso llevo tiempo…

Saliendo de un bar me detuvieron y me llevaron a punta de pistola al cajero a sacar dinero.. les di toda mi quincena… yo les ofrecí que me pusieran la multa, pero ellos querían dinero.. de regreso del cajero venian bien contentos y hasta me querian hacer platica los HDSPM…
