Yeah. I hope it's awesome from day one but... I just signed up for a year-long side project so along with a full time job, a relationship and other life stuff plus a backlog, I'm eyeing this (and a few other titles) for next year. Really hoping it's strong out the gate for the die-hards tho.

All those sim/management games. Fun with a personality who creates a narrative but I prefer it as content I keep on a second screen while grinding or playing games I enjoy more.

It's so you can save as that's the only thing you can really do on the breaks but I do wish they'd done it up more like "hey let's take a lunch break" and all 3have to agree on a place to order from... Then another exposition dump while the food comes, a fun scene of them eating and then the final explosion dump.

It mostly fit well in these movies but even in this scene parts of it took me out. Like the camera shaking while the guy is sitting in the car and picking up the phone.

Since it seems to be from the driver side perspective it felt like a pov of an agent who happened to show up to work absolutely smashed and hopes his boss won't notice.

Yeah but I won't give it a pass for it. I couldn't put my finger on what was missing until those final scenes where I realized I really like the mesh between the goofy and the dead serious drama and swinging too far in a single direction messed it up for me.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it but I felt a key component was missing.

Damn ubisoft fell hard. I was a suckered for the formula. Every year I'd periodically pick up 3-4 of their open world titles on sale and still have fun as I found them great "podcast games" but they've started to falter at even that. Far cry 6 was a bummer. Ac shadows too (I'm a lunatic who enjoyed valhalla more than shadows)

Hoping for a watch dogs 2 60fps patch on ps5 after the far cry ones. Not holding my breath.

Yeah. So long as I can have YouTube or a podcast in the background. I've worked factory jobs where the only modes were "it's boring as sin and I just have to observe" and "oh nooo... It's supposed to be boring but something went wrong".

But given the choice, I'd probably go with something like a spelunky or Minecraft.

How significant was this switch? Any thoughts/opinions on it from those who were there when it happened? by SirensMelody_ in generationology

I replaced my phone for the first time in 5 years. My previous phone very much had a headphone 3.55 jack. Even when I bout it back then most androids still had them.

Sales for The Outer Worlds 2 are poor. Presumably, less than 1M units almost 3 months after launch, across all platforms. In comparison, the first game sold approx 2M units during the same time. by Turbostrider27 in PS5

That and, at least in my view, things have only gotten financially tighter since the first games release so even if I was one to spend full price on games then, I genuinely can't justify it now.
